templatekit

A private automation tool for a one-person digital template shop.

What it does

templatekit creates and maintains document templates — Google Docs, Sheets and Slides — inside its owner's own Google Drive. Those documents are then offered for sale as editable templates, delivered to buyers as "make a copy" links.

Who uses it

Only its owner. This is not a public service, there are no user accounts, and there is nothing here to sign up for. The application authorises against a single Google account: the one that owns the shop.

What access it requests

A single Google OAuth scope, drive.file. That scope grants access only to files the application itself creates. It cannot read, modify or even see any other file in the Drive it connects to.
