Summary

templatekit is a private tool used by one person to build document templates in her own Google Drive. It has no users other than its owner, collects nothing from anyone else, and shares nothing with anyone.

Data the application accesses

templatekit requests one Google OAuth scope, https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file. This scope is limited by Google to files the application itself creates. Specifically, the application:

• creates Google Docs, Sheets and Slides files in the owner's Drive;
• reads and edits those same files afterwards;
• sets sharing permissions on those same files so they can be distributed as templates.

It cannot access any other file in that Drive. It does not request access to Gmail, Calendar, Contacts, or any other Google service.

Data storage

The OAuth token issued by Google is stored locally on the owner's own computer and is never transmitted anywhere else. No database, server or third-party service holds it.

Data sharing

None. No data is sold, rented, shared with third parties, or used for advertising, profiling or training. There is no analytics or tracking on this site.

Data retention and revocation

The owner can revoke the application's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately invalidates the stored token. Deleting the local token file has the same practical effect.

Google API Services User Data Policy

templatekit's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
